1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Edgelace LLC ("we," "our," or "us") and our website at https://edgelace.com/ (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement ("Terms of Service"). If you do not agree to abide by these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.
Important dispute-resolution notice: Section 15 requires mandatory mediation followed, if necessary, by individual binding arbitration for most disputes. It also contains a class action waiver and jury trial waiver and limits the disputes that may be brought in court. Please review Section 15 before using the Service.
2. Description of Service
Edgelace provides standardized, self-service, automated business-to-business software-as-a-service that performs bounded analysis of web applications controlled by the customer and produces structured reports about application security risks. Before a review begins, the customer must verify control of and explicitly authorize the exact web origin. The Service uses bounded, non-destructive request methods.
Edgelace does not provide remote device access, computer repair or device-maintenance services, outsourced technical support, customized penetration-testing engagements, managed security operations, credential recovery, antivirus, malware, spyware, destructive exploitation, or human security consulting. Reports are advisory and are not a certification, insurance policy, compliance approval, or guarantee of complete testing. Customers evaluate the software's security findings and remain responsible for implementing and validating any remediation.
3. Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may not use our Service.
4. User Accounts

- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Updating your information to keep it current

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service.
5. Customer Data and Limited Processing License
You retain your rights in target information, configurations, responses, evidence, report metadata, and other information you provide to or generate through the Service (collectively, "Customer Data"). You grant Edgelace a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license during the applicable service period to host, copy, transmit, analyze, and otherwise process Customer Data solely as necessary to provide, secure, support, and legally operate the Service. This license does not permit Edgelace to publicly display, publish, sell, or distribute Customer Data for advertising or unrelated purposes.
You represent that you have the rights and documented authority necessary to provide Customer Data and authorize the applicable target. You must not provide payment-card numbers, account passwords, private keys, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for the authorized assessment.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our Service for any of the following prohibited activities:
- Any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
- Posting or transmitting harmful, offensive, obscene, abusive, invasive of privacy, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content

- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our Service or related systems or networks
- Impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity
- Using our Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Using automated means, including spiders, robots, crawlers, or data-mining tools, to download non-public data from our Service; ordinary indexing of public marketing pages in accordance with our published crawler directives is permitted
- Assessing any application, domain, web origin, or system you do not own, control, or have documented authority to assess
- Using the Service to gain unauthorized access, evade controls, obtain credentials or data, disrupt a service, or exploit a third party
- Introducing malware, spyware, destructive payloads, or unauthorized state-changing requests
- Using findings or outputs to facilitate exploitation, credential trafficking, malware delivery, surveillance, or the sale of exploit access
- Presenting any report or output as a certification, compliance approval, insurance decision, or guarantee that an application is secure
- Concealing or misrepresenting your intended use, target ownership, authorization, identity, or business activities
- Reselling access to the Service or representing subscription rights as money, stored value, or a transferable payment instrument
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our Service for violating any of these prohibited uses.
7. Payment Terms
This public marketing website does not process payments. For each purchase, checkout will identify the seller and Merchant of Record, provide its applicable buyer terms, and show the final price, currency, and taxes. The identified seller handles payment collection, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, refunds, and payment disputes for that transaction under the terms presented at checkout and applicable law. Edgelace remains responsible for delivering the software capabilities it promises. A later change to sellers available for new purchases does not transfer an existing purchase or subscription to a different seller.
The planned Personal offering has three quantity-one, flat subscription plans. Base prices before applicable taxes are Starter at $25 USD per month or $240 USD per year, Developer at $60 USD per month or $600 USD per year, and Pro at $250 USD per month or $2,400 USD per year. An approved localized price and currency may be shown based on your location. The plan, cadence, currency, taxes, and total displayed immediately before purchase are the authoritative terms for that transaction.
- You choose either a monthly or annual billing cadence, and the selected subscription is billed in advance
- You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any users of your account
- Starter is the only Personal plan eligible for a seven-day free trial. A payment method is required, the trial may be used only once per Edgelace billing account, and it includes deterministic baseline reviews only. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the seller identified at checkout will charge the selected Starter monthly or annual price under the trial terms shown there
- Developer and Pro do not include a free trial, and billing begins immediately after checkout is successfully completed
- AI-assisted allowances do not become available during a Starter trial or merely because checkout redirects back to Edgelace. They begin only after Edgelace receives and reconciles a successful, positive-value paid transaction from the identified seller
- Developer includes one bounded Lite-AI assessment per paid service month. Pro includes three bounded Lite-AI assessments and one authenticated application assessment per paid service month. Starter remains deterministic-only
- Monthly allowances reset at the end of each paid service month, do not roll over, and are not a credit balance, currency, payment instrument, or stored value. Annual subscriptions still receive monthly allowance windows rather than the full year's allowances at once
- Additional eligible Personal AI reports may be purchased individually when available. The Personal offering does not include prepaid assessment packs, top-ups, rollover balances, or metered overage charges
- Each plan is subject to the monthly assessment count, target scope, concurrency, rate and reasonable-use limits, expected processing window, and report-retention period disclosed before purchase
- Subscriptions provide access to standardized automated software and do not include consulting, managed testing, custom remediation, or professional services unless separately agreed in writing
- Subscriptions automatically renew on the selected monthly or annual cadence until cancelled. You may cancel before the next billing date through the available billing-management flow or the seller's management link shown in your receipt. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and ordinarily takes effect at the end of the current paid period
- Applicable transaction taxes and any legally required adjustments are shown at checkout by the identified seller. You are responsible for providing accurate billing and tax information and for any taxes you must self-assess under applicable law
- Refund and withdrawal eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, the identified seller's buyer terms presented at checkout, and applicable law. Existing purchases retain the terms that applied when purchased; nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory consumer or cardholder rights
We may change future pricing or included capabilities, but changes will not apply retroactively to a completed billing period. Material changes to a renewing subscription will be disclosed as required by law.
8. Third-Party Services
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Edgelace LLC. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
You acknowledge and agree that Edgelace LLC shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.
A Merchant of Record's role is limited to the sale and administration of its transaction. That role does not endorse, certify, warrant, approve, or guarantee Edgelace, the Service, any assessment, or any report. The same applies to any identity, hosting, verification, or other service provider participating in delivery of the Service.
9. API Usage
If you access our Service through our API, additional terms apply:
- You must comply with our API documentation and usage guidelines
- We may impose rate limits and usage restrictions
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue API access at any time
- You may not use our API to compete with our Service
10. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Edgelace LLC and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The information on this Service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edgelace LLC:
- Excludes all representations and warranties relating to this Service and its contents
- Does not warrant that the functions contained in this Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Does not warrant that defects will be corrected, or that this Service or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs
- Does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information
No review, approval, verification status, or continued service by a third-party platform or provider is a warranty, endorsement, certification, or guarantee of Edgelace or its outputs.
12. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Edgelace LLC, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Edgelace LLC and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors. This protection applies to all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses, including attorney fees, arising from your use of the Service.
14. Termination
We may immediately suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, unauthorized or unlawful testing, harmful activity, fraud or misrepresentation, risk to customers or systems, or when required by law or an applicable service-provider rule. If Edgelace terminates a paid subscription for convenience without a customer breach, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and a prorated refund or equivalent remedy for the unused prepaid period to the extent required by applicable law or the identified Merchant of Record's terms. You may cancel as described in Section 7.
15. Mandatory Mediation and Individual Binding Arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It requires Edgelace and you to resolve most disputes through mediation followed, if necessary, by individual binding arbitration rather than a lawsuit before a judge or jury. This Section 15 is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. A "Covered Dispute" means any claim, controversy, or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, your account, a subscription, an assessment, a report, or the relationship between you and Edgelace, whether based in contract, statute, regulation, tort, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory.
Written Notice and Informal Resolution. Before requesting mediation, the party asserting a Covered Dispute must send the other party a written notice that identifies the claimant, the account email if applicable, the facts and legal basis of the dispute, and the specific relief requested. Notices to Edgelace must be sent to hello@edgelace.com and Edgelace LLC, 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731, USA. The parties will confer in good faith for at least 30 days after receipt of a complete notice before either party requests mediation.
Mediation Is Required First. If the parties do not resolve a Covered Dispute through the notice process, they must first attempt confidential mediation administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its then-current Commercial Mediation Procedures. Mediation will occur remotely unless the parties agree otherwise. If an in-person session is agreed, it will take place in Travis County, Texas. Neither party may begin arbitration until the mediation concludes or 45 days after AAA receives the mediation request, whichever occurs first, unless both parties agree to a different schedule.
Binding Individual Arbitration. If mediation does not resolve a Covered Dispute, the dispute will be resolved exclusively by binding individual arbitration administered by AAA under its then-current Commercial Arbitration Rules. One neutral arbitrator will conduct the arbitration. The legal seat will be Travis County, Texas, the proceedings will be in English, and hearings may occur remotely unless the arbitrator determines otherwise. The arbitrator may award any individual remedy available under applicable law and will issue a reasoned written decision. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
No Ordinary Court Litigation; Limited Court Matters. To the fullest extent permitted by law, by accessing or using the Service, Edgelace and you agree that neither party may file or prosecute a lawsuit in court concerning a Covered Dispute. This restriction does not prevent either party from: (a) bringing an eligible individual claim in small-claims court; (b) seeking temporary or preliminary injunctive relief from a court to preserve the status quo or prevent imminent misuse of intellectual property, confidential information, accounts, or systems while mediation or arbitration is pending; (c) asking a court to compel arbitration or to confirm, enforce, modify, or vacate an arbitration award as permitted by law; or (d) pursuing a claim or remedy that applicable law does not permit the party to arbitrate or waive. These are the "Limited Court Matters." Any Limited Court Matter must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless applicable law requires another forum.
Individual Proceedings and Class Action Waiver. Covered Disputes must be resolved only on an individual basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edgelace and you waive the right to bring, participate in, or receive relief through a class, collective, consolidated, coordinated, or representative action or arbitration. The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party's individual claim.
Jury Trial Waiver. For any Limited Court Matter, Edgelace and you knowingly and voluntarily waive, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any right to a trial by jury.
Fees, Non-Waivable Rights, and Severability. AAA's applicable rules and fee schedule will govern arbitration and mediation fees, subject to any allocation required by applicable law. Nothing in this Section 15 limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived. If a portion of this Section 15 is held unenforceable as to a particular claim or remedy, that portion will be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply. If a claim must proceed in court, any arbitrable portion of the dispute will remain subject to this Section 15.
16. Governing Law
The Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 15. Subject to the Federal Arbitration Act and any non-waivable law that applies to you, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, solely for the Limited Court Matters described in Section 15 or when applicable law requires a court proceeding.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Edgelace LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties.
20. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice.
21. Electronic Communications
By using our Service, you consent to receiving electronic communications from us. These communications may include notices about your account and information concerning or related to our Service.
